Homemade Avocado Deep Hair Conditioner

Homemade Avocado Deep Hair Conditioner

Frizzy, dry, unmanageable hair is the condition that every woman is pissed with. It is really difficult for a woman to get silky, smooth, and straight hair as it requires much of prowess to achieve that. Shampoos alone cannot fulfill the job of keeping your hair strong and soft. It has to be accompanied by its ‘better half’, that is, a conditioner. Without a conditioner, it is simply incomplete. Conditioner not only conditions your hair, but also makes them strong, shiny, and smooth. There are many categories of conditioners, out of which, few are leave in products while others call for a deep rooted massage to achieve optimum results.

Avocados are known to rejuvenate and treat itchy and flaky scalp. They make your scalp smoother by putting in lots of hydration. Conditioning your hair with avocados is one of the best ways to treat and rejuvenate lifeless and lusterless hair and barren scalp.

Avocado is a great ingredient for a homemade deep conditioner. It can also be used for a quick softening, conditioning and moisturizing mask. The use of honey on hair is talked about everywhere. Honey by itself isn’t sufficient enough to provide the conditioning necessary, but when combined with other products it can make your hair feel softer and provide smooth hair.

Ingredients:
1 fully ripened avocado
2-3 tbsp honey
1 tsp coconut oil
¼ cup aloe vera juice
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
About the Ingredients

1. Avocado
It is one of the main ingredients in the recipe and its benefits have been discussed above.

2. Honey
Honey is a natural antiseptic and anti-bacterial. Besides, it cleanses scalp and moisturizes it from within to make it soft, smooth, and supple.

3. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil, being rich in vitamin E, cleanses and nourishes your hair while protecting them and making the texture smooth and lustrous.

4. Aloe Vera Juice
Aloe vera is calming and soothing in nature for it efficaciously soothes and tones your scalp while making it less sensitive, smooth and less flaky.

5. Lemon Juice
It balances the pH levels of scalp while clearing unwanted stuffs, life dandruff and other kind of pollutants.

Method of Preparation:

Step1 : Mix honey, lemon juice, and avocado. Blend them thoroughly in a hand blender to make a fine paste. Blend for a minute or until you achieve the desired consistency.

Step2 : Next, add aloe vera juice into the blender. If the consistency of the conditioner is too thick to be used in your hair, add more aloe vera juice to liquefy it.

Step3 : Finally, add the coconut oil and mix well to form a smooth paste that can be applied easily onto scalp.

After shampooing your hair as usual, apply the avocado deep hair conditioning treatment onto your scalp and leave in for 5 minutes to get it infused into your hair, well. Rinse off as usual.

Another recipe:
Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Cut up the avocado, mash with a mixing spoon, and then add the honey and olive oil. Use a hand blender to blend all the ingredients thoroughly (so that no avocado bits remain). Apply to hair and cover with a shower cap.  Leave on hair for at least 30 minutes. Rinse.

DIY homemade avocado deep conditioner is ready to make your hair shiny and strong!!!!!
