Ingredients:-
Fish 1 kg
Salt as per taste
Garlic paste 2 tbsp
Onion 2 medium
Tomatoes 3 – 4
Crushed Red Chilli 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Corriander Powder 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp
Green Chillies 3 – 4
Dalda Canola Oil as reqd
Directions:-
*Cut boneless fish into thick fillets. Wash thoroughly and put in a strainer to dry.
*Chop onion & tomatoes, roast & grind cumin seeds.
*Make a marinade in a big bowl with salt, 1 tsp red chilli & corriander powder.
*Marinate fish fillets in it & refrigerate for 15 – 20 minutes.
*Heat 4 – 6 tbsp Dalda Canola Oil on a griddle at medium heat, fry 3 -4 fillets at a time until light golden and keep aside.
*Fry chopped onion, tomatoes, garlic and red chilli on the same griddle. When tomatoes get half done, layer fish fillets on it & cover.
*Cook on low heat while turning the fillets once or twice; when tomatoes get dry add ground cumin and green chillies. Mix well.
